Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Senior Salesforce Product Manager (CRM & Health Cloud) to own the product vision, roadmap, and success of our Salesforce platform. This includes Salesforce Health Cloud for HCP and patient engagement, and Salesforce Sales Cloud for B2B opportunities and account management.
As the Product Manager, you will partner with business stakeholders, IT, implementation partners, and vendors to shape scalable solutions that support our commercial, clinical, and patient support strategies. This is a key role at the intersection of user experience, business processes, and platform optimization—ensuring Salesforce is continuously aligned with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties
Platform Strategy & Roadmap
- Define and maintain the strategic roadmap for Salesforce CRM, including Health Cloud and Sales Cloud functionality.
- Prioritize platform enhancements based on business value, user feedback, compliance needs, and Salesforce product releases.
- Lead platform planning sessions, sprint planning, and backlog grooming in collaboration with business and technical teams.
Business Analysis & Solution Design
- Gather and translate business requirements into user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.
- Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and developers, ensuring clarity and alignment.
- Support documentation and configuration planning to enable reusability and scalability.
Implementation & Delivery
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of Salesforce features and enhancements, working closely with developers, QA, and third-party partners.
- Coordinate testing, validation, and change management to ensure smooth deployments.
- Ensure traceability of requirements through UAT and release.
Stakeholder Engagement & Support
- Serve as the platform point of contact for business teams including Commercial, Clinical Operations, Customer Support, and Compliance.
- Conduct stakeholder demos and collect ongoing feedback to inform the product backlog.
- Support user training, documentation, and communication during new feature rollouts.
Compliance, Governance & Vendor Coordination
- Ensure all configurations and workflows align with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.
- Stay current on Salesforce releases and work with vendors/partners to leverage platform enhancements.
- Collaborate with the Salesforce administrator, security, and data teams to manage platform health and governance.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (4-year) in Business, Information Systems, Health Informatics, or a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 7+ years of experience in product management, business analysis, or platform ownership, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
- 2+ years of experience working with Salesforce platforms, including Health Cloud and/or Sales Cloud.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration, data model, user roles, and workflows.
- Strong understanding of CRM Data model for constructs like Accounts, Leads, Opportunities, and Territories.
- Some understanding of Health Cloud data models (Care Plans, Clinical Data, etc.).
- Familiarity with AppExchange solutions, Salesforce automation (Flows, Process Builder), and integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft, APIs, S3).
- Experience in a med-tech, life sciences, or healthcare environment is strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of HIPAA, FDA, and data privacy requirements in CRM implementations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven track record managing cross-functional projects and facilitating workshops or requirement sessions.
- Comfortable working in Agile environments and using tools like Jira or Aha! for backlog and roadmap management.
- Ability to travel a few times a year to the Manchester, NH office.
