Job Overview
We are looking for a strong operator and strategic thinker to join our Health Solutions team as Senior Manager, Commercial Excellence. This role is part of a commercial product and business operations team focused on bringing product initiatives to market and ensuring commercial success. You’ll lead efforts to coordinate complex cross-functional projects, implement solutions that improve how we serve patients and internal teams, and drive key strategic initiatives across the business. You will work closely with teams across product, clinical, marketing, operations, customer care, and leadership.

This role requires someone with a well-rounded business acumen who thrives in ambiguity, likes building from scratch, and knows how to work across functions to motivate a sense of urgency and deliver results

Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties

Commercial Excellence & Go-To-Market Execution
  • Lead end-to-end commercial readiness efforts for new product and services launches and initiatives
  • Drive alignment across organization including clinical, marketing, tech, customer support, field sales, supply chain, legal, and quality teams
  • Create and maintain commercial go-to-market frameworks to support product life cycle success

Strategic Solution Implementation
  • Evaluate and implement systems, vendors, and tools that enhance internal operations and customer experience
  • Manage solution design, cross-functional input, financial analysis, and execution through deployment
  • Build business cases and drive prioritization of roadmap items that address key commercial needs

Business Operations & Strategic Projects
  • Lead special projects across business strategy, market sizing, and operational efficiency
  • Analyze business opportunities, create clear frameworks, and communicate recommendations to leadership and key stakeholders
  • Support long-term growth by identifying gaps to make impactful recommendations and solving high-priority problems as they arise

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or another field related to business execution in the medical device field.
  • 2+ years of experience in management consulting, high growth startups, or strategic/commercial roles in healthcare or med-tech
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex cross-functional projects and launch initiatives
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills  
  • Clear, structured thinking with strong written and verbal communication
  • Comfort operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
  • Ability to influence across teams without direct authority
  • Financial modeling and business case development experience
  • A proactive mindset and bias toward action
  • Passion for improving healthcare outcomes through technology and operational excellence

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Previous experience commercializing healthcare products or services from inception
  • Knowledge of life sciences value chain & current commercial dynamics
  • Strong knowledge of effective sales process and business operations functions
  • Master’s degree in relevant field (e.g. business, healthcare, life sciences)
