Job Overview
Reporting to the Sr. Director, IT and Infrastructure, the Senior IT Specialist will help spearhead the establishment of Sequel’s IT support function. You will also partner with external vendors to establish a helpdesk ticketing system, launch an outsourced helpdesk function, and deliver security training to employees. Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties
  • Onboarding Support:
    • Provide comprehensive onboarding support for local and field-based employees.
    • Ensure a seamless integration into Sequel Med Tech's IT ecosystem.
  • Helpdesk Support:
    • Offer ongoing helpdesk support, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
    • Address MS Office support, 365 configuration, and backup and recovery needs.
  • Vendor Management:
    • Collaborate with the Sr. Director, IT & Infrastructure to set up contracts with a helpdesk vendor and other service providers.
    • Ensure vendor adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Security Administration:
    • Administer KnowB4 security training to employees.
    • Set up multifactor authentication and encryption measures.
    • Integrate Azure AD SSO to third party applications.
  • Project Leadership:
    • Take the lead on IT projects, contributing to the enhancement and development of IT processes.
    • Assist in drafting and implementing IT policies.
  • Collaboration and Partnership:
    • Partner with business leaders to understand and address specific business needs.
    • Collaborate with the Sr. Director, IT & Infrastructure to meet organizational objectives.
  • Salesforce CRM Backup:
    • Provide backup administration support for Salesforce CRM.
  • Security and Compliance Enhancement:
    • Collaborate with vendors to improve overall security and compliance measures.
    • Ensure that all IT systems are compliant with Sequel Med Tech’s corporate directives, FDA regulations, Sarbanes Oxley regulations and ISO standards.
  • Inventory Management
    • Maintains IT asset lists and ensures that inventory levels are optimized.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science preferred but not required.
  • 4+ years of IT helpdesk support in a fast-paced corporate environment. Experience in IT helpdesk in a consulting environment or supporting multiple clients is a plus.
  • Ability to work onsite in the Manchester, NH office at least 2 days per week, especially on Mondays to provide onboarding support to new hires.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Excellent knowledge of technology trends, software licensing models, current and emerging compliance requirements impacting IT hardware, software, and services acquisitions and contract terms
  • Broad technical infrastructure experience at scale covering compute, storage, networking, end user support and security disciplines and applications.
  • Proven experience bringing IT projects from scope to launch.
  • Design and implementation skills with the following products is a plus:
    • Azure Active Directory
    • Office 365 & Azure Admin Technology Suites
    • Microsoft Office suite of applications
    • MS Intune/Autopilot deployments
    • Jamf MDM
    • Azure AD SSO for third party applications
  • Knowledge of hardware & software installation and configuration, LAN, network access, internet, email, and printer support.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and independently.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to lead and contribute to IT projects.
  • Experience administering the following software applications a plus.
    • NetSuite
    • SharePoint
    • Salesforce
    • TalkDesk CTI
    • KnowBe4
