Job Overview
Sequel Med Tech is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager, Inside Sales to establish and lead our inside sales team. Reporting to the VP, Customer Care, the successful candidate will be responsible for building out and managing a high-performing inside sales team focused on driving revenue growth and providing exceptional customer service.
Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties
- Build and develop a strategic plan for the inside sales team to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Recruit, train, and onboard inside sales representatives, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to succeed.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the inside sales team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement sales processes, tools, and best practices to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with business goals.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, identify trends and opportunities, and make data-driven decisions to drive revenue growth.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key Sales team members and cross functional leaders to understand their needs and preferences.
- Lead the development and execution of Inside Sales campaigns and initiatives to generate leads and drive sales pipeline growth.
- Provide regular performance feedback and coaching to Inside Sales leadership, recognizing achievements and addressing performance issues as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred; MBA strongly preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in Inside Sales and 2+ years of experience in Inside Sales management, in the medical device or healthcare industry.
- Proven track record of success in building and leading high-performing sales teams.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others to achieve goals.
- Previous experience in the Diabetes Medical Device space highly preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies that drive results.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, draw insights, and make informed decisions.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service and value.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Salesforce preferred, and sales productivity tools.

- Ensures environmental consciousness and safe practices are exhibited in decisions
- Use of computer and telephone equipment and other related office accessories/devices to complete assignments
- May work extended hours during peak business cycles
- Physical requirements such as lifting specific weights
- Some travelling is expected
